About Us

We established C.H. Douglas & Gray Wealth Management to be a firm committed to serving our clients with prudence and integrity.

Consumers of financial services can be sitting ducks for an industry designed to maximize profits for suppliers. Those profits are easily and too often derived from selling high and buying low from the unknowledgeable, the unsophisticated, and the inattentive, who then in turn financially suffer the losses, surrender the gains, and fail to attain success in their own objectives.

We established C.H. Douglas & Gray Wealth Management that we could employ our knowledge and our critical thinking skills on behalf of clients whose interests, abilities, or priorities lay elsewhere, and so manage your financial affairs with the same prudence and dedication that we would wish ours to be managed.

Experience

Experienced professionals, we have provided our growing client base with steady-handed financial thought, guidance, and management for over 15 years.

Earning his MBA at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, the world’s leading school of finance, Chris Douglas began managing money for clients in the year 2000 at the very top of a stock market bubble produced by immense industry conflicts of interest.

A chartered financial analyst, Tom Gray returned from Wall Street where he analyzed international stocks. We are joined by experienced professionals in financial planning and in administration and regulatory compliance. Together, we have helped our clients plan, manage risks, and position for and achieve investment gain through market crash, mortgage bubble, and historic recession and recovery.

Client Safeguards

C.H. Douglas & Gray Wealth Management employs important safeguards, including world-class, name-brand third party custodians like TD Ameritrade Institutional, Fidelity, and Vanguard, so that you know exactly where your money is and what it is doing.

C.H. Douglas & Gray Wealth Management works with you to establish accounts at well-known, independent third-party custodians such as TD Ameritrade Institutional, Fidelity, and Vanguard who in turn provide their own periodic statements and online access to balances and to records of withdraws and transfers. You are in no way reliant on our firm’s representations to know your investments or transactions, nor does the safety of your accounts depend upon the financial stability of our firm.

In investment management, we are compensated solely by our fee, which is based on assets under management; we receive no commissions, trails, or incentive payments from custodians or anyone else for your investments.

C.H. Douglas personally conducts and documents a firm-wide weekly review of deposits and withdrawals from all client accounts, including automated contributions and distributions. As an additional safeguard, the firm carries errors and omissions insurance.

The Third Party Custodians typically offer their own protections, including SIPC Protection, FDIC Insurance Coverage and additional Asset Protection Guarantees.
